Research conducted by FEAA's teaching staff and doctoral students ensures the promotion of inter- and transdisciplinary scientific knowledge, remaining flexible yet collaborative in terms of the diversity of their research fields. Based on its mission and strategic objectives, FEAA conducts innovative and applied scientific research that contributes to a better understanding of society, the economy, and business practice. In recent years, research activity at FEAA has followed an upward trend, based on solid benchmarks, academic rigor, and the relevance of the results obtained for the business environment.
Furthermore, FEAA's scientific research is oriented towards the production of ideas, as well as towards improving its epistemological aspect, creating new methods and tools for measuring economic phenomena and the managerial performance of organizations.
FEAA's scientific research directions cover a wide range of topics within the faculty's specific research fields: accounting, finance, economics, management, marketing, and business information systems. FEAA encourages interdisciplinary research, becoming increasingly open and transparent to all stakeholders: international partners (partner faculties and research laboratories), the business environment, governmental and non-governmental institutions, and the local community.
