The EIT Regional Innovation Scheme accelerates climate innovation across Europe. EIT RIS facilitates connections into the established EIT Climate-KIC innovation hubs, currently in nine countries, which in turn act as a bridge into our pan-European network.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration has been part of the EIT RIS network since 2016, with the Timis Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (CCIAT), as member of EIT Climate-KIC Romania Hub. The Hub is involved in a strong regional network spanning large companies, SMEs and regional authorities.
We have been the sole partner of CCIAT in providing the EIT Climate-KIC Accelerator programme, the only EU acceleration programme focused on climate impact by cleantech commercialisation.
In 2017, we became a full partner of Climate-KIC, managing education and acceleration projects. As such, since 2018, we organized the EIT Climate-KIC Journey programme, world's largest climate innovation summer school, a unique combination of academic study & real-world experience, with more than 400 participants in a 4-week, full-time, intensive, residential learning programme hosted by top global universities.
