IT Business Analyst (Junior)
Responsibilities
▪ Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details;
▪ Proactively communicate and collaborate with business departments and collecting functional and non-functional requirements;
▪ Build business and system analysis;
▪ Evaluate impact of change along multiple systems;
▪ Monitor internal/external team’s projects;
▪ Collaborate with developers to establish the technical architecture and establish usability and performance needs;
▪ Build test plans, participates in test sessions and reports issues to the developers team;
▪ Organize training sessions;
▪ Support for production issues by finding solutions for complex incidents;
▪ Act as a liaison between the business units, technology and support teams.
Requirements
▪ Very good English language skills;
▪ Advanced MS Office skills (Visio, Power Point, Excel, Word);
▪ Knowledge of modeling techniques;
▪ Knowledge of SQL and database design;
▪ Strong analytical skills required;
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
Senior IT Business Analyst
Responsibilities
▪ Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details
▪ Proactively communicate and collaborate with business departments and collecting functional and non-functional requirements
▪ Build business and system analysis
▪ Evaluate impact of change along multiple systems
▪ Monitor internal/external team’s projects
▪ Collaborate with developers, infrastructure specialists, and DBAs to establish the technical architecture and establish usability and performance needs
▪ Build test plans, participates in test sessions and reports issues to the development team
▪ Organize training sessions
▪ Support for production issues by finding solutions for complex incidents
▪ Act as a liaison between the business units, technology and support teams
▪ Completing key deliverables as assigned such as: creating and maintaining detailed documentation of the requirements after the business and system analysis phases, creating and maintaining functional specifications, documenting integration processes including field mapping, transformation logic, data sources, etc
Requirements
▪ Experience with various IT development technologies
▪ Experience with IT system integrations
▪ Very good knowledge of SQL and database design
▪ 3-5 years of work experience in a business/system analyst role within an IT department, preferably in the Insurance/Finance/Banking industry
▪ Advanced knowledge of English language
▪ Experience with complex environments: minimum 3 years
▪ Strong analytical skills required
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group
▪ Experience in Master Data Management projects will be considered a plus
